Educational Technology Equipment for Trinity Students
Trinity students can easily borrow technological equipment from the library. Multiple devices are available to support learning and your digital projects.
OVERVIEW
Trinity College offers a wide variety of technological equipment to support learning. The Equipment Collections page is where you can check the status of all equipment. Here is the list of some of the equipment that can be checked out at the Trinity Library.
CLASSROOM
Trinity Library has Chromebooks and other device chargers available for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, other helpful devices, including remote presentation controllers, calculators, and headphones, are available.
ADAPTER DEVICES
There are a variety of adapters available to help you connect any files to multiple devices. Search the keyword “adapter” on the Equipment page to find the adapter you may need.
PODCASTING KIT
Trinity Library offers two fully equipped Story Labs for audio recording and podcast production. One is in room LITS 122 (2-person capacity), and the other is in study room LITS 124 (1-person capacity).
Each studio is equipped with recording equipment and a computer with editing software. You can reserve the room for 2-hour sessions. Additional podcasting kits (USB microphones, headphones) can be checked out at the Trinity Help Desk.
AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT
If you want to start digital projects, Trinity has the following equipment for student use:
- Digital audio recorders
- Digital cameras
- Lighting kits
- Portable recording equipment
- SD cards
The equipment list is for reference only. For specific details about the equipment, you can check out the Equipment Collections page. Most equipment is reserved for 3-hour use, and you can ask the librarians to extend the loan hours. You can borrow the equipment without making any reservation at the Trinity Library Help Desk.
