Save and Share Your Work with Audacity and Audio.com!
Audacity, a free audio editing and recording app, now offers free cloud storage that makes sharing your audio projects easy.
First, make sure you have the latest version of Audacity 3.7.4 (Download here)
Once you download, install, and open Audacity you will be prompted to create an account on audio.com
Every audio.com user can upload up to 3 projects (1GB total) for free. (More storage is available for paid users).
It’s very easy to sync your Audacity account with an account on audio.com to backup your recordings to the cloud. While working in Audacity, click “Save Project,” which will prompt you to save your work to the cloud or your computer.
If you click “cloud,” it will ask you to sign in to your audio.com account. Then, every time you click “Save Project,” your recording will be saved to your audio.com account. It’s also a good idea to save copies of your files to your desktop.
Once uploaded, your files will be accessible on audio.com, allowing you to open them in Audacity at any time or to share them with collaborators.

Note: The free plan limits users to 3 projects up to 1 GB. If you exceed this, you’ll either need to delete old work or pay for more storage.
